Maurice O Callaghan
Born in Dublin, Maurice O Callaghan, moved to the beautiful Kingdom of Kerry when he was 6 years old, and spent his formative childhood years in the scenic seaside town of Castlegregory outside Tralee.
His Kerry upbringing amongst a closely knit family of 7 children, explains his easy going charm and affable demeanor, as well as his passion for nature, cooking and, of course, sport! Although, just who he supported at the recent all Ireland football final remains a closely guarded secret!
Whilst working along side his father in the family’s restaurant in Castlegregory, Maurice quickly discovered his innate flair for cooking and entertaining, and has over the past 13 years developed this talent into a five star career in the hospitality industry in Ireland and abroad.
Maurice is currently working in a management role in the hospitality industry in Limerick. Testament to his ambitious character and commitment to his long term career development, while working full time, he completed an honours degree in Business and Marketing. Maurice is presently completing a Masters Programme in International Management and Global Business in the University of Limerick.
Described as a social chameleon, Maurice spends most of his down time out and about with his friends and family. Other pastimes include acting, playing sports, cooking, traveling and singing….when no one is listening! He is also involved with charities including Irish Red Cross, Irish Cancer Society and the National Children’s Hospital.
Recently, Maurice was also voted as one of Limerick’s top 50 Sexiest men !
