A Model Performance . . .
Upfront Model Management, a division of leading Munster based public relations consultancy, Upfront PR, was officially launched at a party in Fabric 2, Tralee, County Kerry on Halloween night (Friday 31st October). The launch was attended by over 150 invited guests including Upfront Models, and the Agencies’ signed Actors, Tenors, Dancers and Magicians!
Guests enjoyed a drinks reception kindly sponsored by Diageo; before being entertained by two amazing dance performances by the very talented and beautiful
Rachel Daly and finally serenaded (and wowed) by Tenor
Cormac O’Daly who closed proceeding by singing Nessun Dorma. Also especially for the occasion, a 6 foot chocolate and choux pastry fashion mannequin, created by master-chef
Padraig Dennehy, greeted guests at the door, (before being entirely eaten and enjoyed by all throughout the evening).
Louise James, Upfront Manager, outlined the Agencies plans which include opening an office in Dublin before Christmas and a proposed alliance with a London Model Agency. She then unveiled our new website - designed in conjunction with
Rob Condon, Kerrynet Solutions. Finally Louise thanked everyone who had contributed to the Agencies success including top photographers
Barry Murphy, George Doyle, Michelle McNicholas, Don Mac Monagle and Eamon Keogh; make up artists Joanne James and Clair McEvoy; Paul Ruane (Midpoint Design); Raymond Stack and the AV Team and finally Seamus, Bobby and Ruairi O Halloran who had kindly hosted the event in Fabric. Stephen Wallace from The
Wine Buff in Tralee also sponsored two bottles of champagne for the best dressed. After the launch, Louise and her team commenced the search for Miss Fabric 2009, who will go forward to Miss Universe Kerry on the 6th of March 2009 in Fabric Tralee. This event will be judged by
Andrea Roche, Barry Egan (Sunday Independent) and Liz Greehy (Style bible.ie). Photographs from the night will be available on the links page next week and on our bebo page
